About Dr. Jafri
Dr. Zainab Jafri was raised in Chicago, Ill. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and went on to complete a master’s in Biomedical Sciences at Midwestern University in Arizona. She subsequently obtained her medical degree from the Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.
After medical school, Dr. Jafri completed her internship at Abrazo Health Network in Arizona before relocating to Florida to pursue her dermatology residency at Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs. During her final year, she served as chief resident.
Dr. Jafri’s passion for medicine began with a strong interest in patient education and healthcare advocacy. This quickly evolved into a love for dermatology, where educating patients plays a critical role in managing and treating a wide range of skin conditions.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling and has had the opportunity to visit over 30 countries.
