After ERAS applications are submitted, selected applicants will be offered a virtual screening interview. This helps us determine which candidates will be invited to an in-person interview at Goodman Dermatology in Atlanta, GA. Final selection is made through the NRMP Advanced Match.

Calendario de solicitud:

ERAS Application Submission (September)
Applicants must submit all application materials through ERAS. Applications are reviewed holistically and on a rolling basis.
Virtual Screening Interviews (September–March, by invitation)
Selected applicants may be invited to participate in a virtual screening interview. This interview is used as an initial assessment of an applicant’s qualifications, professionalism, communication skills, and alignment with program values.
Participation in a virtual interview does not guarantee an invitation to an in-person interview.
In-Person Interviews (September–March, by invitation)
Applicants who advance in the selection process may be invited to participate in an in-person interview at Goodman Dermatology in Atlanta, Georgia. The in-person interview provides an opportunity for mutual evaluation of the program structure, training environment, and professional fit. The in-person interview consists of a structured working rotation; a detailed schedule for the week will be emailed to applicants prior to arrival. Applicants should anticipate completing a standardized assessment at the conclusion of the week.
NRMP Rank Order List Period (approximately February–March)
The program and applicants submit rank order lists through the NRMP Advanced Match during the designated ranking window.
NRMP Advanced Match Results (March)
Final selection and placement of residents occurs through the NRMP Advanced Match, with results released in March.

Requisitos para realizar prácticas (PGY-1)

Applicants to the Goodman Dermatology Residency Program must complete an ACGME-accredited internship (PGY-1 year) that meets ACGME requirements for entry into dermatology training.

The program accepts any internship year permitted by the ACGME for dermatology, including but not limited to:

Resumen general

The Goodman Dermatology Residency Program offers a Reserved Track for Physician Applicants. This track is intended for physicians who have already completed prior graduate medical education and who meet eligibility requirements for entry into advanced dermatology training.

Participation in the Reserved Track, if offered in a given recruitment cycle, is conducted in accordance with ACGME requirements, NRMP policies, and institutional approval.

Physician applicants must apply through ERAS and participate in the NRMP Advanced Match unless otherwise permitted by NRMP policy.

Selection into the Reserved Track, if available, follows the same fair, equitable, and non-discriminatory principles applied to all applicants. Evaluation criteria may include prior clinical training, professional experience, demonstrated commitment to dermatology, and alignment with the program’s educational mission.
