About Dr. Crasto
Dr. David Crasto was born and raised in Jackson, Miss. After graduating high school in 2008, Dr. Crasto attended the University of Mississippi in Oxford where he completed his college education and pre-med studies followed by a Master of Science in chemistry. He then began his medical education in 2015 at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Hattiesburg, Miss., where he earned a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree. Following medical school, he completed an internship in internal medicine at the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala.
In 2020, Dr. Crasto began his dermatology career in South Florida working as a clinical research fellow for one year. He then began his dermatology residency at Larkin Community Hospital/NOVA Southeastern University in South Miami, FL, where he served as a chief resident in his third and final year. Upon graduation in 2024, he moved to Atlanta, Ga., to join the team at Goodman Dermatology to complete his post-graduate surgical training in Mohs Micrographic Surgery.
Dr. Crasto is married to his wife, Caroline. He and his wife enjoy spending time with their family and friends, traveling, and attending Ole Miss sporting events. He is the oldest of three boys and is an avid outdoorsman who likes to spend his free time hunting and fishing. He is a passionate physician and dermatologist who is devoted to providing excellent individual care through a patient-centered, holistic approach. Dr. Crasto’s expertise lies within the realm of surgical and cosmetic dermatology, as well as general and complex medical dermatology.
