About Dr. Goodman
Dr. Marcus Goodman completed his undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and later earned his medical degree from Midwestern University: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in Glendale, Ariz. He completed his Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery Residency at Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., where he also served as chief resident. After completing his residency, Dr. Goodman worked in a private dermatology practice outside of Portland, Ore., until 2009.
Dr. Marcus Goodman opened Goodman Dermatology in 2010 in Roswell, Ga. The practice has since added additional locations in Braselton, Buford, Canton, Cumming, Dawsonville, Marietta / East Cobb, Lawrenceville, Peachtree Corners, Smyrna and Woodstock. He is a board-certified dermatologist, achieving the highest honors as a Fellow of The American Academy of Dermatology. In addition he is currently a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Dermatology. Dr. Goodman has had the honor of lecturing at both the local and national level and has had numerous articles published in internationally recognized medical journals. In 2013, Dr. Marcus Goodman founded and was appointed as the program director of the ACGME-accredited Larkin Dermatology Residency.
With his extensive surgical background and advanced techniques, Dr. Goodman specializes in dermatological surgical procedures and has performed thousands of cancer surgeries with exceptional outcomes. Dr. Goodman’s pursuit of dermatology started in 2002, and with over 20+ years of experience, excellent bedside manner and grasp of the latest advances in technology makes him one of the most sought after physicians in Georgia.
