Pre-PA/Med Program

Goodman Dermatology was established in 2009 and has grown into one of the top private dermatology practices in the state. We are also one of only three dermatology residencies in the state of Georgia.

Goodman Dermatology has trained and employed numerous pre-physician assistant students over the years. They have logged the required clinic hours with direct supervision from one of four PAs in the practice as well as physicians. The experience earned in direct patient care, including Mohs surgery as well as medical and cosmetic dermatology, will most certainly impress any PA program.

We are a teaching clinic, and that includes not only our dermatology residents and fellows, but our staff as well. Students in the program will learn to evaluate and manage diseases, assist in surgeries, and gain a better understanding of patient care.

We are proud of our medical assistants who have gone on to PA school. They will be forever a part of our practice. They are well trained and ready for the intensity of a PA program after working with our practitioners. We are excited to add more hard-working members to our family.
