Alexa Deck has been a Board Certified Physician Assistant since 2019. She received her Bachelor’s degree graduating Magna Cum Laude from Auburn University and Master of Physician Assistant from Augusta University. She completed 1 year in internal medicine prior to beginning her work in dermatology. This experience provided Alexa with the ability to help her patients better manage their dermatology conditions as well as educate them about the role they play in their treatment.

Alexa is a licensed Georgia Physician Assistant and is an active member of the Georgia Dermatology Physician Assistants attending monthly meetings to stay up to date with emerging dermatology treatments. Additionally, she is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and recently completed the SDPA Diplomate Fellowship Program.

Alexa’s interests include general, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She has experience treating a wide range of dermatologic conditions in adult patients and previously worked alongside a Mohs surgeon.

In her free time, Alexa enjoys spending time with her husband (Sam), German Shorthaired Pointer pup (Milly), family and friends, traveling, cooking, and exercising.
