Dr. Faraz Yousefian

Dr. Faraz Yousefian was born in Tehran, Iran and left his home country to pursue higher education. He lived as a refugee in Turkey while volunteering for the United Nation. He completed his undergraduate education at University of California- Davis with a degree in psychology. Dr. Yousefian attended medical school at the University of the Incarnate Word School of Osteopathic Medicine (UIWSOM) in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from medical school, Dr. Yousefian completed his internship at the Texas Institute for Graduate Medical Education and Research (TIGMER) in San Antonio, Texas serving underserved population of Southside San Antonio.
He then spent a year furthering his medical and dermatology training at the Center for Clinical and Cosmetic Research (CCCR) in Aventura, Florida where he performed FDA and investigator-initiated trials as a sub-investigator and published a variety of articles.
When he’s not in the office, Dr. Yousefian enjoys spending time with his family and friends, volunteering at Habitat for Humanity, swimming, and playing a Persian musical instrument called “Daf”.
